ECOEI President Prof. M. Akif Kireçci and ECOEI Protocol Officer Dr. Gonca Biltekin paid a visit to H.E. Kemal Köprülü in his office at the Embassy of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to Turkey on 23 September 2021. Prof. Kireçci invited experts from TRNC Universities to participate in the ECOEI event “High Level University Representatives Forum” on internationalization of higher education. President Kireçci also expressed his willingness to incorporate higher education institutes from TRNC in a future research to be conducted by ECOEI which will measure the level of internationalization using an index, aiming to find out the weaknesses and strengths of universities in attracting international students. The parties reiterated their enthusiasm to cooperate in future projects.
