ECOEI President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Kireçci and Educational Expert Gonca Biltekin have attended to the International Conference on “The Main Directions and Opportunities of Tourism Development in Turkmenistan” held between the dates 25-30 March 2024. The Conference brought together high-level executives, educators, scientists, experts together to discuss the issues around the main theme.
Prof. Kireçci made a statement titled "Showcasing Local Cultural Heritage on a Global Scale." In his speech he underlined the significance of preserving cultural heritage and fostering global understanding through education initiatives, with an emphasis on digital technologies. He called for enhanced regional cooperation and sustainable growth in tourism education within ECO region and beyond.
