The Muallem prize is given by the Borhan non-profit Educational foundation to activists who have an effective and significant role in the field of education and training of the society. This award is given to winners in different categories, including the best teacher and the best film with an educational theme.
Teachers, instructors, and educators who have at least five years of experience and plan to continue their work for the next three years are eligible for the prize. The prize amount is determined each year based on funds provided by sponsors and endowments. For the second cycle, the prize remains the same as in the previous cycle, totaling one billion tomans.
Teachers may apply for the award, and others can nominate successful teachers. The registration deadline is January 31, 2025, and the closing ceremony will be held in February 2025.
